Action Truck Parts has been serving Chicagoland’s truck parts needs since 2005 when they opened their first store in Bolingbrook, which specializes in DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) cleaning as well as stocking new DPF filters for replacement needs. In 2013, Action joined VIPAR Heavy Duty as a premier aftermarket heavy duty parts distributor in the Chicagoland area. Since 2013, Action has become known as one of the top truck parts distributors in the country.
In 2016, Action acquired Darryl Dupre Inc., a long-time parts distributor in the Joliet, IL marketplace. With this acquisition, Action added driveline repair to its product offering and services, making them one of the few heavy-duty parts distributors in Chicagoland to have this service. In 2019, Action expanded to serve the Chicago market.
Action was a nominee for the 2017 and 2018 “Distributor of the Year” by Truck Parts & Service Magazine and publication. Action was also recognized for helping move the industry forward with its retail experience and exceptional customer service.

Since 2019, Action Truck Parts has hosted an annual charity golf outing that has raised over $375,000 to support more than 23,000 athletes and their families. Action also partners with local law enforcement through events such as Cop on a Rooftop and the Torch Run Truck Convoy, where Action has proudly served as a Presenting Sponsor for the past seven years.

ACME became part of the Traction Truck Parts distributorship becoming the first Traction location in the USA.
June 2013
Traction Truck Parts became Action Truck Parts.
June 2016
Action Truck Parts acquired Darryl Dupre Truck Parts in Rockdale, IL.
June 2017
Darryl Dupre location (now named Action Truck Parts) moved to new and better building in Rockdale, IL.
January 2019
